5kbd Privacy Policy Bangladesh

Privacy Policy at 5kbd

5kbd is committed to protecting your privacy when you use this Bangladesh-focused download and account hub. This Privacy & User Data policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how we safeguard it, and what choices you have. It applies to browsing this site, downloading official APK packages, and using official login or register channels linked from here.

By using 5kbd, you acknowledge this policy. Service rules and age requirements also appear in our Terms of Service. For day-to-day security habits (OTP, phishing, Alternative Link), see the Login and Alternative Link pages — those tips support this policy but do not replace it.

Information we collect

We collect information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service for users in Bangladesh:

• Account details you provide: mobile number, email, password (stored in a protected form), and age confirmation when you register or reset access.
• OTP and verification signals: one-time codes and delivery status used to confirm phone or email ownership — we do not ask you to forward OTP to private chat “agents”.
• Usage information: pages visited (such as Download, Guide, or Login), approximate device or browser type, and basic technical logs that help fix outages.
• Download-related technical data: which package type you select (for example universal or arm64) and whether a download completes, so we can keep package notes accurate.
• Cookies and similar storage: small files or local data used to improve navigation and remember preferences where enabled.

We do not need your bKash or Nagad wallet PIN to “activate” a download. Anyone asking for wallet secrets in the name of 5kbd privacy or support is not following this policy.

How we use information

Collected information may be used to:

• Create and maintain your account, login sessions, and password recovery.
• Deliver APK download and install guidance, and keep version or hash notes useful.
• Provide customer support and respond to access or account questions through official channels.
• Improve site reliability across Bangladesh networks (including understanding when Alternative Link is needed).
• Send service-related notices (for example security or important account messages) — not unrelated spam sold to third parties.
• Detect abuse, fraud, phishing look-alikes, and violations of the Terms of Service.
• Meet legal obligations when a valid request requires us to retain or disclose data.

Data security

We apply security controls appropriate to a download and account hub:

• Encryption for sensitive data in transit (HTTPS) on official pages and channels where applicable.
• Access limits so personal account data is available only to roles that need it for support or operations.
• Encouragement to verify APK integrity using published size and SHA-256 notes on the Download Center.
• Guidance to avoid phishing: bookmark official pages, and never share OTP codes.

No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure. You also play a part: use a unique password, enable device locks when offered, and sign out on shared phones.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information for others’ marketing. We may share limited data only when needed to:

• Operate infrastructure that hosts the site, app distribution, or SMS/email delivery (under confidentiality expectations).
• Comply with applicable law, regulation, or lawful requests in Bangladesh or other relevant jurisdictions.
• Protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service against fraud or abuse.

If a processor helps us deliver OTP or hosting, they should use the data only for that purpose — not to build unrelated marketing lists from your 5kbd account.

Links to other sites

Our site may contain links to other websites or backup distribution paths. This privacy policy applies to official 5kbd pages and channels we control. It does not cover:

• Third-party sites you open from search results or social groups that only copy the 5kbd name.
• Fake “alternative link” pages that ask for payments or OTP outside our published list.
• App stores or device settings screens operated by Google, Samsung, or your carrier.

Always confirm URLs against this site’s Alternative Link list and Download Center before entering account details.

Policy changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time when products, law, or security practice change:

• The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we publish a revision.
• Changes will be posted on this page; continued use after posting means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
• If changes are material, we will aim to make the update easy to find from the site footer.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law in Bangladesh and related rules, you may:

• Request access to personal information we hold about your account, where feasible.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate account details (for example email) through settings or official support.
• Request deletion or closure of an account where the option exists and legal retention does not require otherwise.
• Clear cookies in your browser and limit similar storage on your device.
• Refuse suspicious data requests — official 5kbd support will not ask you to send OTP codes to a personal messenger account.

To exercise these rights, contact us through the official support path after login or the contact method published on the official site. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner.

Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how 5kbd handles user data in Bangladesh, contact us through the official form or support channel on the site. Do not include your password or live OTP in the message. For non-privacy how-to topics (install steps, carrier tips), use the Guide or Location pages first.
